Privacy Policy

Binary Craftsmen is a software development studio based in Lahore, Pakistan. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit www.binarycraftsmen.org, contact us, or use our employee portal, and the choices you have.

• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and project information. Contact form messages are stored securely and can only be read by our team.
• Portal accounts. If you create a portal account or sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, profile photo (if you add one), a unique account ID, your role and when you last signed in. Your preferences (such as theme and language) are saved to your account.
• Documents and drawings. Urdu documents you save are stored in your account. If you share a document, the people you share it with can see it, and we store their email addresses and the access you gave them. Canvas drawings are kept only in your browser.
• Device details you choose to share. We sometimes send a link asking you to share details about your device, for example to reproduce a problem you reported. Nothing is collected unless you agree on that page, you choose how much to share, your location is only included if you allow it, and nothing is collected if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
• Error reports. If a page fails and you choose to send a report, it includes the error details, the page address, your browser version and anything you add, such as a description or your email address.
• Device preferences. Your light or dark theme choice, unsaved editor changes and canvas drawings are saved in your browser's local storage. Signed-in sessions are also kept in browser storage by Firebase so you stay signed in.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver and secure the website.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or rent personal information.

We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:

• Vercel hosts and serves this website.
• Google Firebase provides sign-in, the database for messages, accounts and documents, and storage for profile pictures.
• Google Fonts serves the icon font used inside the portal.

We keep project correspondence for as long as it is needed to work with you and meet legal or accounting obligations. Portal accounts and documents are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Device details and error reports are deleted once they are no longer needed for the purpose they were shared for.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email azee4ya@icloud.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you have a portal account, you can also download your data, delete it, or delete your whole account yourself on the portal's Settings page. You can clear your browser storage at any time to remove saved preferences and sessions.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
